I hate to rub it in but this is definitely the time of year I get to reap the rewards of the sunshine tax. Living in San Diego isn’t cheap (well, maybe it is relative to living in Hawaii – my original home), but compared to many other cities in the US it’s still expensive.
But we get pockets of sunshine in the winter where it’s warm enough even for the little man to run in his diaper.
