Here’s what Farm Fresh to You offers:
- Mixed Fruit and Vegetable Box – a good mix of fruit and vegetables that can be used for snacks, cooking, etc.
- Traditional CSA Box – lots of green leafy vegetables, root vegetables, and some fruit (similar to what you’d find in a traditional CSA box)
- No Cooking Box – this was my favorite box because it included a lot of fruit and vegetables that could be used for kids’ lunches, snacks, sandwiches and salads.
- Fruit Only Box – a variety of fruit for those who prefer it.
- Vegetable Only Box – a great variety of vegetables for cooking, salads, etc.
- Organic Snack Pack – mostly fruit but a lot of it for snacking on the go.
Customize Your Order
Choose any of the boxes above and you can STILL customize your order. Don’t like persimmons? Remove them and add more apples. Need more onions this week, no problem. The online order system is SO EASY to use. I removed a few things I didn’t need and add other things like pasture-raised eggs (which is really hard for me to find at grocery stores). You can add local honey, raw nuts, and much more.

Here’s What I Got
I chose the No Cooking Box. Why? Well, because my family always seem to be snacking on fruits and vegetables. I cannot tell you how many pounds of carrots, apples, oranges, celery and avocados we go through each week. It’s ridiculous. Plus, I love the cooking vegetables that are included in this box, such as broccoli, spinach and cauliflower. Oh my cauliflower. I have a hard time finding organic cauliflower in my local health food stores so it’s been a god-send to get it organic and local.
Bring on the Paleo Shrimp and Cauliflower Grits. I literally lick my plate every time I make this dish.
